Mike graduated first in his law school class at the University of Utah, where he was a Marriner S. Eccles Fellow in Political Economy. In addition to working in private practice and for local governments, he was a professor of law for six years at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law from 1986 through 1992. He has written dozens of articles on legal topics and has been a frequent speaker at conferences throughout the United States. He is committed to representing the rights of employees in Kansas.
